Indus believes that “Preparation for Life” is the purpose of education. Students need to be equipped with competencies such as innovation, critical thinking, life-long learning which will enable them to cope with a future which is increasingly volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous. Presently schools do not enable effective learning of these cognitive and emotional competencies within our classrooms.
At Indus ‘Preparation for Life encompasses four priorities:
Indus is one of the few schools that goes beyond academics, catering to students signature strengths. The Leadership Curriculum is unique to Indus. It allows students to set skill-based goals in several areas. We believe that skill development is essential to prepare students for life.Admissions Open

“Indus International school, the place where my passion for tennis began. While I started playing sports like any other student, my passion for tennis developed and I started playing for the school at inter-school competitions, since then I started getting better at the sport and went on the play and coach for the national tennis competitions. The school was very supportive and it could balance my academics and co-curricular activities well. Thanks Indus”
“When we decided to move to back to India with our two boys we knew it would be a humongous change for them. Choosing IISP was one of the best decisions we made. The friendships made, relationships forged with teachers and the leadership curriculum have all enriched their lives and helped them adapt. We have seen the school grow in size and stature over the past three years and congratulate the dynamic principal, team of fantastic co-ordinators , hardworking teachers and genial staff and wish them success for the future”
“As a new teacher, I really feel that I will learn a lot from working at Indus International School Pune. I joined the school to be a French teacher just few weeks back, and I really feel that I am part of the Indus family. Since I joined the school, I know that if I have any questions I can ask freely. The whole staff is very professional and friendly. As a foreigner, I know that I can rely on competent people to help me with administrative procedures, and to understand the functioning of the school. I feel very lucky to get the opportunity to professionally grow in an international and open-minded environment. I feel that students are very mature and have a good understanding of the world around them. They are really curious inquirers.I really appreciated to participate to the workshop “making the PYP happen”, led by Ms Leda Cedo. It gave me a clear picture of the curriculum and a better understanding of what an IB school is.Moreover, we have the chance to work in a beautiful place, the campus lived up the reputation of the school.”
