Graduation Day

The Graduation Ceremony was held on 13th April, 2018 for the twelfth batch of our Grade 12 students. The solemn ceremony commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and the invocation song. Our young eagles assumed a matured and grown up look as they walked down the aisle, dressed in black saris and suits and wearing the graduation gowns in the Indus colours of green and gold.

Annual Aquatic Meet

The annual Aquatics Meet was held for Reception to Grade 9 and 11 this month. The senior school was conducted on March 02nd whereas the primary meet was conducted over two days; March 21st and 22nd respectively. Swimming is a critical life skill and something every individual should know. It also helps build endurance, muscle strength, cardiovascular fitness but also helps maintain a healthy weight, heart and lungs. During the aquatic meet, our students showcased remarkable sportsmanship and took part in a variety of events.

THE EAGLE CART

The House Visions at Indus play an integral part of community service. The visions are centred around servant leadership through women empowerment projects. There are several products made by the students in collaboration with women from the neighbouring villages. To give these products a boost we came up with the idea of an online portal – The Eagle Cart. Grade 9 students of Enterprise and Computer Science, led by Ms. Hema Thiagarajan and Ms. Riddhi Shukla, gathered the data to create this online portal.

Leadership Day

The Community Action and Service projects hold an important place in our curriculum at Indus. Apart from being an essential part of the IB, we consciously endeavour to go beyond the curriculum and contribute to the community.

PYP Sports day

Indus believes in holistic development of its students. On 16th February, PYP students put up a spectacular inaugural show and it could not have been possible without their ardent commitment towards it. It began with the Torch run by promising sports stars who brought laurels to ours school in various disciplines after which the Sports meet was declared open.

Annual Sports Day Report

The much awaited Annual Sports Day was held on Friday 19th January 2018, with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The programme began with the Principal Mrs. Sarojini Rao welcoming the esteemed gathering and emphasised on the importance of sports in a child's life. The chief guest, Mr Srinath Prahlad, our CEO, Lieutenant General Arjun Ray and Principal, Mrs. Sarojini Rao also took the salute of the impressive March Past of the students, coupled with some stirring marching music by the band.

Daniela Wyatt's stand-out performance at the Central American Junior Bowling Championship

Daniela Wyatt won 4 Gold & 1 Silver medal in a stand-out performance at the Central American Junior Bowling championship. She won medals in the U-16 Individual, All-Tournament Gold and Team, All-Event Team, and Doubles. Her average at 193.17 was the best female average of the tournament (which included U-21 category as well), and she would have made top-10 overall including U-21 males!
