The last two years have been challenging because of Covid 19; and even with the onset of Omicron, there seems to be no let up.  The challenges motivated us to find opportunities to innovate; and Indus schools performed better than ever before. We found opportunities in chaos, and re-invented ourselves, especially in delivering the blended model of education.

In 2021 national rankings, out of more than 150 IB schools, all three Indus schools were ranked within the top 7 in India: Indus Bangalore at # 1 for the 10th consecutive year; Indus Hyderabad at # 5; and Indus Pune at # 7. For Indus Bangalore, it was a double whammy: the School was recognised as one of the four Schools of National Excellence by a jury led by Ernst and Young and Education World. Even the newly raised Indus Altum School in Belagavi, in its very first year, was honoured in the Emerging High Potential Schools’ category.

Volatility and uncertainty are increasing exponentially; this is the new normal. At Indus we welcome this emerging scenario, that is affecting every aspect of human life from home, to work, to relationships. The message for all is loud and clear: innovate or perish. This is also the basic law of evolution. This is also the purpose of education at Indus: preparing children for a future we do not know - to be life ready

With warm regards,
