There are various schools in HSR Layout. Choosing the best one is a daunting task. If you want global education for your child, look no further than the Indus Early Learning Centre, which creates the leaders of tomorrow. Unlike other ICSE schools in HSR Layout, our school focuses on building futuristic skills in students.

Eligibility

While our school does not differentiate students based on class, colour, creed, or national origin, we do limit the number of student admissions based on the availability of individual learning support offered to each child.

Programmes

Indus Early Learning Centres encourage children learning through curiosity and creativity. Our programmes are designed to match the teaching methodologies that are relevant to all learning levels. The programmes are classified into the following categories:

Parent Toddler Program (10 Months – 2 Years)

Our Parent Toddler Program offers parents and their children (in the age-group of 10 months to 1.5 years) an opportunity to come together in a warm and homelike setting. The children along with their parents come for 2 hours, thrice a week, in an environment which has been especially set up to nurture the child’s growing independence. This structured program includes language development through puppetry, songs, poems, rhymes and role play; physical development through dance and play; cognitive development through water play, sand play, action songs and garden equipment; and sensorial development through activities related to sight, smell, touch, hear and taste.

Grade: Pre-Nursery (1-2 Years):

The pre-nursery programme nurtures young children by providing them with the emotional, physical and intellectual stimulus that encourages their overall learning and growth. The programme is suitable for kids between ages 1 and 2 years. We use deep engagements to fuel academic development and sensorial awareness with the help of stories, playtime, library, celebration of festivals, field trips, etc.

Grade: Nursery (2-3 Years)

Our nursery programme is designed to build a solid foundation for the child’s complete development by providing them with a child-centred approach. Our broad curriculum integrates learning through stories, expression and exploration of their environment. We are committed to building a social, emotional and cultural awareness by using an interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning. Our courses also incorporate other activities such as dance, music, arts, sports, etc.

Grade: Reception (3-4 Years)

The Reception Programme is suitable for ages 3 to 4 years. It imparts play-based training and encourages children to ask questions. The curriculum is balanced with core aspects of concepts, knowledge, skills, attitudes and action. We also focus on language development through active engagement using oral, visual and written language techniques.

Grade: Prep One (4-5 Years)

In our prep one curriculum, we construct an environment that is enriched with real time learning not just within the classroom but also outside of it. We especially focus on conceptual learning and leadership skill development. Additionally, we put a lot of emphasis on unlocking the child’s hidden potential and help them develop a sense of self-awareness. We conduct regular art and outdoor activities to encourage a child’s overall development.

Grade: Prep Two (5-6 Years)

The prep two environment is full of learning material. We believe in providing the child with opportunities that help them reach their potential abilities. We not only prepare the kids for quality education but also teach them life skills that stay with them forever. The prep two curriculum is designed to nurture each child’s unique capabilities. Our programmes help students develop cognitive, creative, artistic, as well as mathematic skills. The course curriculum is suitable for ages 5 and 6.

The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC)

Indus school follows an open-door communication policy with parents as we believe parents are partners in their child’s education. The Parental Advisory Committee was formed to give parents a platform to share their feedback. It also enables the parents to discuss and interact with each other regarding matters pertinent to school and their child’s grade-specific concerns.
