Children’s Day was celebrated with gaiety on 14th November. The day marks the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru who emphasised on the importance of education of the youth for the development of the nation. The teachers made the day special for the children by organizing a fun-filled extravaganza for the students. The day was filled with light-hearted cheer, excitement and joy as the children watched the various performances, like the Fashion Show, dance and music by the teachers. It endorsed the fact that there is no better day and way than Children’s Day to tell students that they are treasured and cherished.
