Transport

Indus International manages a fleet of high quality AC buses that ply from different parts of the city. All buses have a GPS (Global Positioning System) which help us to track them for delays, over-speeding and unexpected changes in the route. Every bus has a 'bus parent' as well as detailed contact information (mobile #s and/or email ids) of parents of the students traveling on that route.

To ensure safety of our students, the following process is followed while ferrying them:

• At the time of departure, the bus parent ensures students alight at pre-designated drop points. In case a student needs to alight at a different point, a prior note has to be sent to the Transport Officer.
• An SMS message is sent to the parent(s) of a student - 5 to 10 minutes before the bus arrives at his/her designated pick up /drop point
• In case of unexpected delays, the bus will wait till the parent arrives at the drop point, or, a person from our staff is allocated to alight along with the student.
• The school bus is also used to ferry students for outings and field trips. In case of somebody other than the parent having to come and pick up the student, a prior note has to be sent to the Transport Officer.
